Captain Crickett took Paul Pepe and his
children, all the way from Huntsville Alabama
out for a fun weekend of fishing! They caught
lots of speckled trout and red fish! They didn't
let the bad weather stop them any! They fished
in Lake Salvador and used reaction lures.

Lee Dubois, and his friends came down to
slam the reds !!!
Here's Alan Warren and Don Woods from
Champion Boats!!! They had a great time
fishing with Capt. Theophile on the bayou
they caught a lot of reds and specks the
weather was great and the bait they used was
silver mullets!!!
Brian Landry and his Buddies!!! They stayed at
the Cajun Vista and went fishing with us. They
all had a great time and will be back!

Allan Warren of the Chevy Sportsman and Steve
Miller from MERCURY MOTORS came down to do a TV
show. They had a great time, hooked plenty of
reds and then had a great shrimp boil back at
the dock!

NAPA took a break from the auto parts
industry and decided to take a shot at the
fishing indusry!!!! They spent a night at
the CAJUN VISTA!!!! They had breakfast,
dinner, and a FULL DAY of FISHING and
FUN!!!! They fished with capt's Crickett,
Pancho, Mike, Chris, Todd, and Nick!!!!!
They fished Little lake, Bayround, Baycray!!!
They used plastic, silver
mullet,
gold spoons, and live bait!!!! The weather
was HOT and SUNNY!!! It was a blast!!!!!

Great fun on DA BAYOU!!!
Roger the deer slayer came down to Louisiana
and caught his Boone and Crocket trophy
RED!!!! Roger has been bringing his clients
and friends to stay with us for years! They
stayed at our Vista ,ate eggplant, gumbo,
and had a great time! Capt. Theophile put em
on the REDS!!! They caught tons of fish and
had great fun on the bayou!!!!! They fished
the Beach and Grand Lake. They used gulp
shrimp (fish say mmmmm yum that shrimp is
GOOOOOD!!!!) Capt. Theophile says he's
lookin forward to cooler months but fishin
still HOTTTT!!!!!!
Out for a day of fishing
Sam came out for a day of fishing with his
family. They had an AWESOME day on the
water!!! It was a calm hot day with no wind
and they caught lots of TROUT and some
REDS!!!!!Capt. Chris really knows how to put
em on da fish!!!!They fished Barataria Bay
and used shrimp to REEL EM IN!!!!!

Paul Nilet, Brad Gegenheimer & Stu Morlier from
New Orleans came out for a GREAT day fishing.
This bunch of friends saw our Ad in the Times
and decided to take a day trip and catch some
BIG
REDS!!!!
Capt Mike really knows how to put the boys on DA
FISH!!! They limited out using Blacks
chartreuse, and cocahoes. They fished Bayou
Dupont.The boys say the weather was beautiful.
Just a lil cloudy but the rain held out for em!!!!

Buz Livingston and some of his co-workers from
Florida decided to come stay at our Cajun Vista
for some good fishing and good food!!!! .
WoooHOOOOO they limited out on da REDS!!!! Capts.
Poncho and Cricket really know how to put the
boys on the fish!! The weather was HOTTT and no
wind. Lots of action in the water. They fished
Bayou Dupont with black and chartreuse.

THE SHORT BUS CREW!
 
Tom Huston & his buddies Edward Gaw & Jerry
Hargis came down from Tennessee for a weekend
stay at our Cajun Vista. They limited out on the
REDfish!!!
Capt. Theophile really knows how to put them on
the FISH!!!! The weather was a little cloudy and
rainy but they still managed to hook the
REDS!!!!
They fished Lake Salvador and used gold spoons!!
Steve Sutton & Co-Workers of Southern Pipe
Co. took a break from work to go out to our
Cajun Chalet for 3 days & 2 nights!!! Capt's
Poncho, Mike Crickett & Bobby B turned them
onto the
REDFISH!!!
They limited out and had lots of great
food!! Chef Mike cooked all weekend. The
weather was hot & sunny. They fished Bay
Round, Bay Cray & Little Lake. The bait they
used was gold spoons, electric chicken &
Silver mullets!!!
August 5, 2006
YEAHHH BUDDYY!!!!! Captain Poncho and
Captain Chris took Richard Longmire, Billy
McMIcheal, Owen Jones, Power Ragan, Lamor
Ragan, Steve Bates, and Nathan Bates, who
all came down from ALABAMA, out for a great
fishing trip!! They fished the Texaco Canals
and used Top Dog and Back Chartreuse. They
had a nice little competition going between
boats. In the end Captain Poncho's boat came
home with 16 REDS, and Captain Chris' boat
came home with 14 REDS!!!
This morning Captains Todd and Mike took
Darrel McNichol, David Wilson, GiGi Fritz,
Tony Geye, Rene Lea, Don, Lea, Alice Pollitt,
and Jeff Pollitt out to fish the beautiful
waters of Lafitte. They fished all day and
came back with some great catches. They
fished South of Little Lake with shrimp on a
cork!!!! It rained and there were thunder
storms, but nothing can stop Capt. Mike and
Capt. Todd from LIMITING out the REDS!!!!
The crew hung out on the dock eating burgers
prepared by Chef Joe, drinking a few, and
talking about today's trip!
AAYYYEEEEE!!! These folks had a great
weekend!!! Chis Thompson, Carl Deaber and
Brian Deaber came down to Lafitte to stay
with us. They stayed in our beautiful Cajun
Chalets, that are only accessible by boat.
They ate good Cajun meals prepared by our
own Chef Mike, and went fishing during the
day. Who can ask for a better way to spend a
weekend?
This morning they went fishing with Captain
Crickett. Brain really slammed the REDS!!!
They fished Bayou St. Dennis, Bay Cray, and
Bay 5. They threw Black and chartreuse and
Cocohoes. The weather was a little rainy,
but Captain Crickett still managed to bring
them home with ice chests filled with 25
REDS, 15 TROUT, and 2 FLOUNDER!!!!!! I would
like to note that most of these fish were
caught by Brian Deaber.

Captain Theophile and Captain Bobby brought
Gary Rispone, Jodi Russo, Ricky Robinson,
Richie Thompson, Sap Guzzardo, and Bobby
Thibodaux out for a sweet little fishing
trip through the wonderful waters Lafitte
has to offer! They fished over 92 miles!!
They fished with Spinner Beads and Black
Cocahoes. In the beginning they were
catching TROUT but they finished the trip
catching them REDS!! They had a total of 35
TROUT and both boats limited out on REDS!!!
The Great Captain Mike M. took Dave, Kevin,
Jim, and Michelle Chabreck down to Little
Lake to fish with the Plastic Cocahoes!! It
was a great fishing trip!! They came home
with 50 TROUT!! WAY TO GO GANG!! It was a
little windy out there on the water but
Captain Mike always manages to put you on
the FISH!
Capt. Bobby Beck brought Mark Davis, David,
Louis, and Kyle Chryssoverges, and Shannon,
Gina, and Michael Foley out on a GREAT
fishing trip!! They had so much fun reeling
in the BIG ONES all day!! They fished in
Turtle Bay and Bayou St. Dennis with
plastics!! They brought home 8
REDS,

This morning CRAZY Captain Crickett brought
Bob Winberly, Chris Thompson, and Victor
Lafave through the bayous of Lafitte for a
great fishing trip!! They fished Bay Cray,
Bay St. Louis, and Coffee Bay using TOP
DOGS!! They came home with 15 TROUT and 15
REDS!!! Captain Crickett described the
weather as MARVELOUS, and the sky stayed
where it was supposed to, not like last time
when it just started falling down in the
boat!!

Captian Todd took Ty, Wade, and Jim Woods
out to fish the bayous of Lafitte!! They
fished the south end of Little Lake with
Shrimp under a cork!! They came home with 11
REDS

beginning but he still managed to put them
on the REDS!!!

Captain Casey had Courtney Barousee, John
Roberts, Chris Huval, and Jason Vanhalen
catching dem MONSTER REDS and TROUT this
morning!!! boy was it a hot day but that
didn't stop Captain Casey from putting dem
boys on da fish!!! They SPANKED da fish in
LITTLE LAKE using GOLD SPOONS and BLACK
COCAHOES!!! Dem boys came back with 71 TROUT
and 11 REDS!!!

This morning Captain Chris and Captain Mike
brought Bob Wagner, Tim Waldroup, Rick Shaenklin,
Kevin Strange, and Micheal Strange out on an
awesome fishing trip!! They fished in Little
Lake using SPOONS!!! The weather was really
warm, and those squalls were starting to build
up but Captains Mike and Chris still managed to
put these boys on the REDS!! They came home with
35 REDS and 8 SPECKS!!

Every year Steve Duplantis and his buddies
Billy Ray Bilbro, Dale Luczkowski, Bob
Brucker, and Vernon Walton come down from
Texas to fish in Lafitte with Bourgeois
Fishing Charters! They spent July 4th, 5th,
and 6th with us at out Cajun Chalet and had
a blast!!! They ate wonderful Cajun Cuisine
prepared by our very own Chef Donald
Bourgeois!! Who is an awesome cook!!
Well this crew fishing in Little Lake, Bay
Wilkenson, Bay 5, and Bay Round!! They
limited out in
REDS
every day they went out!! WHAT A WAY TO
SPEND INDEPENDENCE DAY!! They caught some
huge BULLREDS!! They also caught and
released PLENTY!! They weather was a cloudy,
windy, and rainy, but Captain Crickett and
Captain Theophile still managed to put these
boys on the fish! And they came home with 5
ice chests filled!!

This morning Capt. Mike took Dwayne Labatut
and his son Jacob, and Guy Schexnayder and
his son Dylan for a little father-son
fishing trip! They SLAMMED the
REDS
in COFFEE BAY using Shrimp on a Cork and
Gold Spoons. They brought home 20 REDS!! The
weather was SCORCHING HOT!!, and not much
wind, but Captain Mike can always put you on
the fish!
This morning Tina Larreau showed all the men
out there that women can do it too! This
morning her and Capt. Crickett went out
fishing in Turtle Bay, Bayou St. Dennis, Bay
5, and Bayou Dupon with Blacken Chartreuse
cacahoes!! Tina and Capt. Crickett caught
their LIMIT today!!! You go girl!! Capt.
Crickett described the weather as wonderful,
and if it would have been any better he
wouldn't have known what to do!
This morning Capt. Poncho and Capt. Chris
did a duet fishing trip! They took Doug
Tipton, Cody Tipton, Craig Tipton, Raymond
Key, Coy Tipton, and Jorge Jarza out in
Little Lake and man did they SLAM those
REDS!!!! They used Gold Spoons Silver Mullet
and Bait Shrimp to bring home 25 REDS, 2
TROUT, 1 SHEEPHEAD, and 1 BLACK DRUM!! When
they came back to the dock they were
exhausted from reeling in all those huge
fish all morning long!! But it was a nice
little change from their regular, busy days
as Insurance Adjusters. There was a
competition between the two boats, and I
heard that Capt. Poncho's boat won, but I'm
pretty sure I heard that from the crew that
was on that boat! The weather was really
windy when they left the dock, but it was
calm on the water, and very HOT! but they
still came home with ice chests full!

Capt. Mike brought David, Andrew, Bobby, and
Joe Bollich out in COFFEE BAY for a great
morning fishing trip!! The SPANKED the REDS
and SPECKS!!!! and they did it with
SHRIMP!!!! Capt. Mike really showed them the
sweet spot that only Bourgeois Fishing
Charters would know about!! AYEEEEE!!!
AAYYYEEEEEEE!!!
BOY was it hot out in Little Lake!! WHEW!
Capt. Theophile and Bobby Marshall went out
the Little Lake on WILD SCHOOL CHASES!!!
They caught their limit!! They used shrimp
and plastics!!! It was quite hot out there
but Capt. Theophile never comes home without
an ice chest filled!!!
CAPTAIN TODD ON THE FISH AGAIN!! David Clark
and his wife went out fishing with Capt.
Todd through Little Lake and Coffee Bay.
They used Plastics and Cacahoes! They really
had an awesome time out on the beautiful
waters of Lafitte! By the time they got back
to the dock their arms were hurting them!
Well that's expected when the whole day
you're just reeling them in, one after the
other!! They caught their limit in REDS!!!
It was a little windy but nothing can stop
Capt. Todd from getting to the FISH!!
Out in Little Lake is where all the action
is happening!! This morning Capt. Poncho
brought Mike Joiner, Charlie Miller, Louie
Pastor, and Robert Parent out in Little Lake
to catch their limit. Of course you can
always count on Capt. Poncho, THEY LIMITED
THE BOAT!! What a trip! They used Spoons and
Bait Shrimp for those BBBIIIIGGGG ones!! The
weather was windy but GREAT!!!
On this bright, sunny day CRAZY Capt.
Crickett took Emily Dyess, David Wessel,
Matthew Wessel, and James Wessel to LITTLE
LAKE where they caught those big fish
Lafitte is famous for!! They used Gold
Spoons and Cacahoes. Capt. Crickett really
put them on the REDS today bringing them
home with 10 REDS, 5 TROUT, and 1 FLOUNDER!!
Boy was it hot out there on the water, but
Emily, David, Matthew, and James still had
an awesome time with Capt. Crickett.

Brock and Michelle Tregre came down to
LAFITTE to fish with mighty Capt. Poncho.
They SPANKED the REDS in Little Lake. They
used Gold Spoons and Plastics!! They kept 7
REDS, 2 DRUM, 1 FLOUNDER, and 1 SPECK!!!
Capt. Poncho said they almost caught their
limit of SPECKS!!! ONLY 74 MORE!!! The
weather was described as HOTTTT! but
beautiful!!
Kayaking in the BAYOUS!!! This morning
Captain Todd brought Kristen Watson and
Dwayne Clerk out fishing on a kayak!! They
caught all those BIG ONES in Bay Round and
Airplane Bay with GOLD SPOONS!!! It was a
little windy on the water but that didn't
stop Capt. Todd from putting them on the
FISH!!! They came home with 15 REDS and 2
SPECKS!!!! They had a great time just
relaxing on that beautiful bayou scene. Not
only did they come home with an ice chest
filled, but also with memories of Capt.
Todd, the fun, and all that FISH!!!

CRAZY CAPT. CRICKETT took Jeff Mattina and
his co-workers on a great fishing trip!!!
They took a break from their busy jobs at
Metal Tech to go out RED FISHING!!! They
spent the night at Cajun Vista and the chef
prepared awesome Cajun GUMBO, POTATO SALAD,
SHRIMP MOSKA, JAMBALAYA, and a homemade
PEACH COBBLER!!!!!! They left the next
morning to chase after them schools in Bay
Round and Little Lake. They used Gold Spoon
and Plastic Silver
Mullet
to LIMIT out the boat!!!!!
This morning Todd Vinet brought Chris and
Allison Ackoyd through the bayous of Lafitte
for a sweet little fishing trip!!!! They
fished in Little Lake with plastic cacahoes
and gold spoons for those BIG ONES!!! Capt.
Todd really showed them how to fill those
ice chests today!!! They caught their
LIMIT!!!!
The weather was awesome for another great
fishing trip with BOURGEOIS CHARTERS! Chris
and Allison came all the was from England
for their summer vacation. They came 20
years ago and absolutely fell in LOVE with
NEW ORLEANS!!! Really who doesn't love NEW
ORLEANS!!!!

Capt. Poncho took Trudy Ruppencler and his
fishing buddies for a Father's Day trip of
fishing. They really SPANKED those REDS and
SPECKS in Little Lake and Bay Round!!! They
used Cacahoes and Dead Shrimp for those BIB
PAPAS!!! They LIMITED out the boat and
really filled those ice chests!!!

were biting down in COFFEE BAY!!!! Capt.
Mike Took Glenn Guidry, Will Hope, Tidus
Hope, and Donald Smith on a fishing
experience!!! They caught 25 REDS, 3

time just listening to that Cajun music,
eating that good ol Cajun cuisine, and
fishing with Capt. Mike!!
This morning Captain poncho took the
Nguyen's for a little father-son bonding.
Phung brought his son Justin to Lafitte to
fish the open waters at Bourgeois Fishing
Charters!!! They used Gold Spoon and Black &
Chartreuse in Little Lake and Lake
Salvador!!!! They caught 25 FISH, and kept

What a way to bond!!!! Today was a beautiful
day on the water and Justin and Phung really
enjoyed Capt. Poncho's teachings!!

Eddie, Geoff, and Andrew "A-TRAIN" Winters
on an awesome fishing trip in LAFITTE!!!!
Dem boys can really do some fishing out dere!!!
Dey got LOTS and LOTS of FISH!!! Dey LIMITED

Little Lake!!!!! These guys were on their
summer VACATION and just had to make it to
Lafitte to get a great fishing trip in!!!
Eddie got the most sleep required on the
trip, Geoff caught da most FISH, and Andrew
ate da most FOOD!!!!

Captain Poncho and Captain Crickett took
Clay Durley and developers Joel Ponder,
Johnny Dear, Bob Riener, Jeff Barnes, Kevin
Hurley, and Marty Kyron. They SPANKED them
REDS
and
TROUT
in Little Lake, Coffee Bay, and
Barataria Bay!!!!
They used Salt & Pepper Chartreuse, Cacahoes,
and Gold Spoon!!! They kept 45 REDS and 150
TROUT!!!!! Kevin Hurley works with Mainline
Supply Company and Clay Durley is from
Thompson Machinery!!! This was Clay's 1st
time fishing
red fish
and definitely prefers this over deep sea
fishing!!! He said they had lots and lots of
fish and lots of good eats!!! His favorite
was the red fish courtbouillon, and wants to
give major props to the chef!!! Whether it
was from that good Cajun food or all the
beer, everyone came back FAT!!!
This morning Capt. Todd took Favrot, Ford,
Michael, and Jim Bradford through the bayous and
swamps of Lafitte! 2 weeks ago Jim Bradford came
fishing with Bourgeois Charters and had such a
great time he took his grandsons fishing with us
today!!! he wanted them to have as much fun and
experience real fishing like he did 2 weeks
ago!!! They fished Little lake using shrimp
under a cork!!! They slammed the REDS, keeping
20!! They also caught 1 FLOUNDER!!!!
Capt. Bobby took Mike and Chase McAlpine on
a wild school chase!!! Chase who is on his
summer vacation came with his dad Mike for a
Father's Day fishing trip!!!! They used
Black Chartreuse and Cacahoes in Bay Long
and 3 bayou Bay. They limited out the boat
with 10 REDS!!! They chased the schools of
reds with Capt. Toe. They caught some on the
top and they caught some on the bottom!!
Capt. Bobby showed them a great time on the
water and they said he never shut up the
whole time they were out there!!!
This morning John Heurtin, John Heutin III,
and Micheal Heurtin came to fish with
Captain Theophile. This is the 2nd year
Michael and John III brought their dad on a
fishing trip for Father's day. We here at
Bourgeois Charters like to call this the
ANNUAL HEURTIN PALOOZA!!!!! They fished in
Lake Salvador and Catahoula Bay using
Spinner Blades and Black Chartreuse. They
kept 10
REDS
after chasing schools of fish all morning!!!
How ironic is that the high school teacher,
John Heurtin who caught the first fish on
this trip, winds up chasing schools on his
summer break!?!? Capt. Toe described the
trip as the stumps were biting as well as
the fish. He wanted to say they caught about
45 stumps!!! They tried to go after those
trout
but the reds wouldn't stop biting!!!! John
III caught the least of everything, but at
least he goes home with a new nick name
"STUNT KING" They had a great time spending
time together with just the guys fishing
with Captain Theophile!!

A family outing for the McDonald's!!!
Gerald, Tammy and their son Allen came down
to the bayous of LAFITTE!!!! Where we do it
BIG!!! Captain Todd took them to SPANK them
REDS
in Bay Cray and Airplane Bay. They fished
with plastics, cacahoes, and shrimp on a
cork!!!! They kept 10 REDS, 1
TROUT
and 1
FLOUNDER!!!
The REDS are BITING today boyyyy!!! It was
perfect weather for a perfect fishing trip
with the family!!!

Noah Duchock and Carson Thomasie's grandfathers
brought them to fish with Capt. Mike this
morning. They are definitely the world's
greatest grandfathers!!! Capt. Mike showed them
all the sweet spots on the south side of Little
Lake. They used shrimp on a cork to catch the 15
REDS,

Capt. Poncho, with Bourgeois Fishing Charters,
took Joel Markert and his family on an evening
trip through the bayous and swamps in Lafitte.
They really SLAMMED those
reds
in Little Lake, Bay Round, and Lake Salvador.
They used bait shrimp and plastics. They kept 25
FISH total!! 12 REDS!!! WOOOOOHHH!!!
Gotta love those evening trips!!! It was really
windy out on the water but the water was very
calm. The Markerts just kept reeling in the BIG
ONES!! They had a great time catching fish and
relaxing on the water with Capt. Poncho!
AYYYEEEE!! Bourgeois Charters did it BIG
again!!! Captain Mike really showed Buff
Slaton and his grandson Chris Walker an
awesome time. He took them to those sweet
spots that no one knows about where the fish
are ALWAYS biting! They SPANKED those reds
south of Little Lake using
shrimp-on-a-cork!!!! They caught 12 REDS, 1
SPECK, 1 DRUM, and 1 FLOUNDER!!!! The water
was very clear and beautiful, but as the day
went on it got HOTTER and HOTTER!!!!! Buff,
Chris and Capt. Mike shared fishing stories
while reeling them in on the water!

Today Captain Crickett took Ben Thompson,
Richard Bartley, and their wives, Ann and
Laura on a fishing excursion through they
bayous and swamps of Lafitte. They really
got to see all the beautiful wild life and
swamps in the area, and they were truly
amazed at how gorgeous this town really is.
They got to fish in Bay 5, Bay Cray, and Bay
MawMaw. They caught 5 REDS, 15 TROUT, and 1
DRUM!!! They fished with Black chartreuse
and popping corks. They weather was
WINDY-WINDY described by Capt. Crickett, but
he still managed to put them on the fish!!
Jesse Yagor and a few of his fishing buddies
went to the bayou of Lafitte to fish with
Bourgeois Charters!!! Good 'ol Captain
Crickett took them to Bay Five and Bay Cray
where they CAUGHT their LIMIT of
REDS!!!
All the boys could say was "It was an
awesome day!!" They used market shrimp and
plastics and never had a problem catching
the BIG ONES!!! They weather was very windy
but nothing can stop you form having a good
time when you're catching all the FISH!!
FLY FISHING IN LAFITTE!!! Dick Condar went
fly fishing with our Capt. Richard, who is
an awesome fly fisherman if I may add. Capt.
Richard really showed Dick how to spank the
fish in Three Bayou Bay. The weather was
awesome but a little windy, but still
perfect for a nice day of fly fishing. They
really had a great time sharing fishing
stories and filling the ice chests!!!
HELL YEAH!! Captain Theophile took Ronnie
Zumo and his co-workers to catch the
catfish!!! They caught their limit of
catfish in Lake Salvador and Bay Round using

Mr. Bourgeois, the owner of KING KOOKERS!!!,
came down to Lafitte for the weekend. He
fished with Capt. Bobby in Little Lake and
they LIMITED out the boat, using silver
mullets!!!! Him and a few pals stayed at the
Cajun Vista where he cooked for some alumni
from Rummel High School. They all really had
a blast eating cajun food, listening, to
cajun music, enjoying stories from
back-in-the-day, and fishing with Captain
Bobby. Not only will they go home with an
ice chest of HIGE fish, they are also
leaving with memories of the good times in
high school, and the good times they had
fishing with Bourgeois Charters!

AYYEEEEE! Down in da bayous of LAFITTE
Captain Todd V. took James Carley and his
son for some father son bonding. They really
slammed the
reds
and
specks
in Bay Round. They used plastics and
cacahoes. The weather was perfect for a
fishing trip. Captain Todd really showed
them a great time and hooked them up with
the BIG ONES!!!

Metro Boating taking a nice little break from
building those boats to riding in them. They
stayed at our beautiful Cajun Vista that's right
on the water. They had a great time with the
captains eating Cajun food, listening to that
Cajun music, and fishing the bayous of Lafitte.

Captain Eilene and Captain Theophile took a
few of their good friends Connie and Joe
Paternostro out on great fishing trips. They
spent a weekend at the Cajun Vista in
Lafitte. They caught their limits everyday
and really enjoyed themselves on the boat.
They fished in Bay Round, Bay 5, 3 Bayou
Bay, and Lake Salvador. They used Bass
Assassin to bring in the really BIG ones.

Captain Todd took John Hillstrom out for a fun
day of fishing. They fished in Little Lake with
plastics and got to take home 10 BIG REDS and 6
nice trout. The weather was nice. The winds were
calm.
Captain Poncho took Phillip Hartman, son Trevor,
and friend Mike Haydel out for a day of fishing
fun. They fished in Lake Salvador, Little Lake,
and Snail Bay using plastics and bait shrimp to
lure in the BIG REDS and nice trout. They boated
15 reds and 9 trout. The weather was breezy for
some of the day and calm at other times.

Glenn Guidry and friends went out for a day of
fishing fun. Captain poncho really showed them
the places to catch those specks and a great
time. They used shrimp tails, silver mullet, and
all kinds of plastics to lure in 160 specks but
only keeping 74 of them. They fished in areas
such as Little Lake, Hackberry Bay, and Big
Lake. The weather conditions were rather nice,
though a little HOTT, but the winds were calm.
JUNE
5, 2006
Tad from Louisiana seasoning sent four of his
construction workers out for an afternoon fishing
trip with Captain Mike. Captain Mike reallllly put
these guys on the fish and showed them a grrrreat
time. They fished in the Turtle Lake area. They used
silver shad to lure the BIG REDS in. The weather was
cool with mild winds.
JUNE 3, 2006
Adam Hansard and his family went out for a three day
two night stay at our Cajun Chalet. They fished
morning and afternoon. Limiting out on the fish!!!!
Captains Cricket, Poncho and Mike really showed them
a wonderful weekend on the bayou!! Our Cajun Chef
Donald prepared blackened red fish, jambalaya,
potato salad, gumbo, yummmm those Cajuns really know
how to cook. They fished in all the bayou around the
area of Bay Round, Bay Cray, and Mud Lake. The baits
they used to hook the BIG REDS was silver mullet,
silver shad, and electric chicken. The weather was
very SUNNY, mild winds which is very good fishing
conditions.

The family of good fishermen! David Bradford,
David Bradford Jr., Jim Bradford, and Jim
Bradford Sr. came down to Lafitte to catch those
BIG fish!!! The Bradfords caught 25 FISH in
Manilla Village and Lake Salvador. But they kept

using cacahoes!!!!! Capt. Nevil described the
day as VERY WINDY,.... VERY WINDY!! But that
didn't stop him from putting the Bradfords on
the reds!
Capt. Mike and Capt. Poncho took Marcel
Garsaud, Mary Mees, Andre'l Tieler Carsaud,
and Monique Garsaud on an awesome fishing
trip. They SPANKED those
reds
in Little Lake boyyyyy, I tell you!!!! They
used market shrimp on jigheads that worked
real well for them today!!! They filled the
ices chests with 23 REDS and 3 SPECKS!!!
These captains managed to put them right on
the reds today!!! It was a beautiful day for
being on the water!!!
THE SILVER
MULLET
DID IT TODAY BOYS!!!!!!!!!! Captain
Poncho with Bourgeois Charters really
put Rudy and Bubs Bachmann, Wade Giles,
and Rudie Senn on those FISH today!!
They fished Rigolets with Silver Mullet
and limited out the boat!!!!!!!! They
had an awesome trip and they all enjoyed
Capt. Poncho doing all he could for
them!

AAAYYEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Now today was an awesome day
for a fishing trip!! Eric Monqer and his father
Dick Monqer came all the way from LAS VEGAS! to
fish with the captains from Bourgeois Charters!
Eric Monger is a chef at Chef Emerald's
restaurant!! They both had a good time out on
the bayous of Lafitte relaxing, telling stories,
and CATCHING FISH!!!! The day started out
slow in Lake Salvador, but then they really
SPANKED the
reds
in Bay Round. They limited their boat using
shrimp and plastics. It was an overall great
fishing trip. We really showed them how we do it
down south!!
Through the bayous and swamps of LAFITTE,
you could have found David Buzbee, Larry
Carmouche, Wayne Snouppe, and Mark B.
tearing up those SPECKS!!!! They whipped
them in
Barataria Bay
then again in Packberry Bay. They caught 100
SPECKS and 3
REDS
using artificial plastics, cork/pipelining.
Capt. PONCHO knows how to put you know the
BIG ONES!!!!!! The guys each grabbed a beer
once they got back to the dock to pose for
pictures with their fish!
AYYEEEEEEEEE!! BROKE BACK BAYOU!!! Ken
Stevenson and his buddies make routine
trips to Lafitte to fish with our
captains and have a good time. They
stayed at our Cajun Chalet for 2 nights.
They had a great weekend. They limited
their boat everyday they went out!! They
fished Bay Round, Bay Cray, and May
MAMAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! They had an awesome
time this weekend, but they just
couldn't stop making fun of Capt.

Through the generations!
Through the generations they haven't lost the
tradition of being AWESOME fisherman. Ronald
Authement( father), Guy Authement (son), Ben
Authement (grandson), Tyler Sterling (grandson)
limited out the boat with Capt. Pete down in Bay 5.
They used plastics to catch the BIG ONES!!!! It was
a beautiful day to relax and fish.
What a great day to go fishing!!!!
Today was s low day down in Lake Salvador, but Capt.
Mike wasn't going to let Gene, Frank, Tidus, and Don
come home empty handed!!! OH NO HE DIDN'T!!!! they
brought home 6 REDFISH using spinner bait. It was
very relaxing sitting on the water and sharing
stories between the guys.

BOY
was it hot out there in Lake Salvador, but Capt.
Bobby Beck and Capt. Mike definitely did put Andrew
Jordan and his buddies on the
REDS!!!
They caught 17 awesome reds using plastics and
shrimp!
Cornell Smith WHIPPED the
reds
with Capt. Toe and Capt. Eilene. They fished in
Little Lake using silver mullets. It was a hot
and sunny day, beautiful for a fishing trip.
They limited the reds, and had a great time
doing it.
Captain Tommy L. took Mike Truxillo Jr. and his
friends Mike Truxillo, Tommy Bonner, and Allen
Bonner on a fishing trip to Lake Salvador where
they really spanked those fish!!! They used Salt
& Pepper to catch 13
REDS!!!!!
What a weekend this group had!!! OOOWWEEEEEE!!
The Jim Breaux group fished in Bay Round, Little
Lake, Bay Five, Bay Cray, and Bay Loria and
never came home without an ice chest full!!!

vs. THE GATOR!
Captains
Tommy, Crickett, Bobby, and Pete, had to take out four
boats out to take the huge group of eighteen on an
awesome fishing trip.
They
fished in Lil Lake, Blind Bay 3 Bayou Bay and Bay 5.
Between the four boats they SPANKED 127 FISH!!! It was a
mix of REDS, TROUT, SPECKS, and DRUM.
They used
Black chartreuse, Silver Mullet, Cacaho and spinner
baits. It was a hot day, but the captains always manage
to find the right spots!!!
On this
fine day Captain Mike had Joe Leimkuhler, Brent Sawyer,
and Jeff Wilson join him on a RAJUN' CAJUN' fishing trip
out in Litte Lake and Bayou Dupon.
Man,it was
HOTTT today, but you know Capt. Mike can still bring you
to the FISH!
They used
black chartreuse, cacaho, and market shrimp to catch the
BIG 10 REDS and
2 TROUT!!
AYEEEEE!
This was a
great mother's day eve!!!! Today we had Captains Poncho
and Coyote putting Carl, Bill and Jeffrey Turner, Gary
Maddox, and Ken Otterbourg on those FISH all day.
They
boated 25 fish using shrimp and silver

DRUM.
It was a
beautful day out in Little Lake.

Today we
had our friend Gerald McDonald come down to LAFITTE to
fish with Capt. CRICKETT!!
It surely
was hot out there in Lake Salvador, Bay Round and Bay
Five but that did keep those REDS from biting!!
To catch
the reds they fished with Black chartreuse, and to catch
them trout they used Cocaho plastic. They kept 5 REDS
and 12 TROUT!!

We had
Mark Mettelman and his CRAZY friends stayed at our Cajun
Chalet. They fished in the morning and in the afternoons
and still wanted more!!
Captains
Poncho, Mike, Bobby Beck, and Craig took them out
in Lil Lake, Bay Round, and Three Bayou Bay.
The
weather was a little windy and sunny, but BOY did they
have a good time reeling in 100 FISH!!! WOW!! They only
kept 75, 50 reds and 25 trout. They used silver mullet,
silver shed, and elect.chicken!!!

and three specks! Now it was a little windy out today
and boy was it hot!
So the
fishing was tough, but you know nothing can stop these
crazy coonass anglers down here with Bourgeois Charters!

Today
the weather was windy and fair, but they still
caught the fish! They boated 10 fish using various
Plastic & SHRIMP!! They kept two SPECKS and six

now!!! Hes has dat cajun "FISHING FEVER"!!!
He
brought his wife a long this time, and she
caught her share. Today was windy down at Water
Lid Lake, and the water started to get merky.
But Captain poncho came across with a nice BOX
OF FISH using dead shrimp and silver
mullet
black.
