The tours leave from the private dock of the Cajun Vista.The tour lasts for approximately two hours. You will paddle down Bayou Barataria 3/4ths of a mile, paddling past shrimp boats, crabbing boats and even tug boats with barges. You enter an old moss draped cypress bayou where the pirate Jean Lafitte roamed so many years ago. During your journey you will see an abundance of wildlife, such as, alligators, bald eagles, egrets, minks, otters, nutria rats and deer.
